FAM was founded in 2007 to provide the benefits of creative art therapies and social robotics to people of all ages with a concentration on serving those with challenges. FAM uses fine art lessons, art therapy, music therapy, dance & movement therapy, multi-sensory sessions and FAMbots (social robot enhanced learning), to improve the lives of our most vulnerable community members. Our beloved clients include elderly residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children and adults on the autism spectrum, the homeless, veterans, economically challenged families; basically, anyone experiencing difficulty with the activities of daily living. FAM’s greatest accomplishment has been the increased implementation of services enhancing the lives of thousands struggling with challenges that may be physical, mental, emotional, behavioral or even economic.

Based in Boulder, CO, Misty Robotics, Inc. is building the robot for everyone. Misty Robotics’ vision is to put a personal robots in every home and office. These robots will be seen and treated as our friends, our teammates, and a part of our families -- performing helpful tasks, providing safety, and interacting with humans in entertaining and friendly ways that have only been seen before in science fiction. Misty provides a new world of opportunities with robots for business, personal, research and educational use. She’s purpose-built for developers, has the tools and docs you need to easily build her skills, and is readily extensible via third-party APIs, hardware modifications, and additional sensors.
Autism Science Foundation
The Autism Science Foundation’s mission is to support autism research by providing funding and other assistance to scientists and organizations conducting, facilitating, publicizing and disseminating autism research. The organization also provides information about autism to the general public and serves to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the needs of individuals and families affected by autism. Our organization adheres to rigorous scientific standards and values. We believe that outstanding research is the greatest gift we can offer our families. Every research dollar needs to count.
